Best concert experiences*: Phish at Lemonwheel in Maine….the 10-hour bus trek from Boston (after flying out in a huge storm from L.A.) only made it all the better; Radiohead at Field Day 2003….made 10 hours in the pouring rain all worthwhile; last one has to be a tie–Pixies and Mogwai at Coachella 2004…both totally epic.

About O’Brien
1. Where ya’ from: Winnetka, Illinois
2. First Concert Ever: The Samples in 8th grade. I got into them (and avoided the hair band debacle) because of my summer camp counselors. We got there when the doors opened, and watched from the front row of the balcony in the Vic Theatre.
3. Best concert experiences*: Bands that I have seen play at a higher level and have personally enjoyed are…Arcade Fire, White Stripes Joseph Arthur, Bloc Party, Big Head Todd, Get Up Kids and a bunch more that I’m forgetting. I’ve lived a blessed concert life thus far.
4. Simpsons or Seinfeld: Seriously? This is like asking me if I like Chocolate or Vanilla cake. Who cares, either way it’s cake!
5. Favorite Bands/Musicians*: I’ll say Big Head Todd, if only because I don’t think I’ll ever stop listening to “MIdnight Radio.”
